1. In coordination with recruitment function and HR rep, prepares new-hire packets, maintains new-hire data-base and distributes appropriate reports in an accurate and timely manner. 2. Audits new-hire, volunteer, and contract services personnel files to assure completion of appropriate new-hire and orientation documentation prior to folder being filed. 3. Prepares orientation attendee list for education department and HR manager no later than Thursday prior to orientation. 4. Exercises sound judgement in screening outside calls, and, generally acts as a liaison to recruitment function whenever possible. 5. Manages Web-Hire process assuring position control process is accurate and timely. 6. Prints and distributes Job Postings on a weekly basis. 7. In coordination with recruitment function, assures all resumes/applications received through Web-Hire are distributed to appropriate hiring authority within one working day. 8. Maximizes functionality of Web-Hire to assure minimum days to offer. 9. Updates job line on a weekly basis. 10. Responsible for the timely and accurate completion of employee sign-on, conversion, and referral bonuses. 11. Provides back-up for the HR representatives, accurately answering general personnel questions from applicants, employees and managers in a courteous and professional manner. 12. Collects and reports department productivity on a daily basis. Assures productivity is assigned to another HR rep if planning time off. 13. Develops and implements the Regulation 1501 Trip Reduction Plan as the Employee Transportation coordinator. 14. Coordinates with appropriate Hospital personnel to assure communication and compliance to plan requirements. 15. Other duties as required.
Qualifications: A. Minimum Education: High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
B. Minimum Experience: 1-year experience in clerical/secretarial capacity preferred.
C. Preferred Skills and Abilities: Bachelors degree in healthcare or human resources, accurate keyboard skills, computer literate (Word, Excel, Access, Quicken); good filing skills; detail oriented; excellent customer service skills; ability to handle multiple tasks with a good sense of humor.
