Nemours Children's Health, Orlando, FL is seeking a full-time Pediatric Neuropsychologist to join our growing team in the Division of Psychology, serving our Hematology Oncology Division in Orlando, Florida.
This full-time Pediatric Neuropsychologist position focuses on providing neuropsychological services within our Hematology Oncology outpatient medical specialty clinics, inpatient services, and clinical programs. This individual will provide care for children and adolescents with a wide range of Hematology and Oncology diagnoses, including a wide variety of Hematology and Oncology diagnoses. The position includes collaboration with multiple Hematology and Oncology specialists and multi-disciplinary team members, including coordination with behavioral health providers. Consultation, liaison, and team participation are valued, service models. The neuropsychologist's expectations are primarily clinical, and as this will be a new position, there will be ample opportunity for program development. Additionally, we welcome applicants who may also have a secondary interest in participating in our training programs and/or clinical research. This neuropsychologist will work closely with a designated 1.0 psychometrist.
Required qualifications include:
- A Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an APA or CPA-accredited clinical psychology program
- APA or CPA-accredited internship training
- 2- year postdoctoral specialty training in clinical neuropsychology, in accordance with Houston Conference guidelines
- Licensure or license eligibility in the State of Florida
- Candidates should be board certified or eligible for board certification in clinical neuropsychology with the expectation that subspecialty certification in pediatric neuropsychology through ABPP will be completed.
Preference will be given to candidates who have training consistent with the Houston Conference guidelines or meet neuropsychology training guidelines accepted by INS, NAN, and Division 40 of APA.

NCH-FL, part of Nemours Children's Health, is a state-of-the-art, free-standing children's hospital with a full breadth of pediatric specialties. The Hematology-Oncology program at Nemours Children's Hospital is part of the Nemours Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders (NCCBD), among the top three most significant pediatric oncology contributors to NCI clinical trial enrollments. Our division sees 65 new oncology patients yearly and has a dedicated Cancer Survivorship Program. Our comprehensive sickle cell program follows 300 patients, and the Division has dedicated faculty leading a comprehensive neuro-oncology program. Our division includes four physicians, two ARNPs, dedicated Social Workers, and Child Life specialists and serves as an independent service line- with an infusion center, ambulatory clinic, and inpatient unit. We are active members of the Children's Oncology Group and are part of Nemours NCORP (NCI Community Oncology Research Program), one of only 2 pediatric NCORPs in the country. The division offers the largest number of cancer clinical trials in the Central Florida region and offers an increasing number of clinical trials in hematology, including sickle cell anemia and hemophilia.
The mission of our Psychology division is to improve well-being through quality behavioral health care, education, training, and research in a collaborative, inclusive, and culturally responsive manner. The NCH-FL Orlando Division of Behavioral Health is quickly growing and includes seven pediatric psychologists, 1 neuropsychologist, 2 psychiatrists, 2 Licensed Clinical Therapists, and 2 Psychology Postdoctoral Fellows. We are currently in the process of hiring an adolescent psychologist. The Division of Psychology is part of the Department of Pediatrics and works closely with our medical subspecialty clinics, including Neurology, Gastroenterology, Hematology/Oncology, Endocrinology, Pulmonology, Anesthesiology, Inpatient Rehabilitation, and others. Academic appointment through the University of Central Florida is strongly encouraged and supported.
