In addition, we've also established one of the first-ever MA Apprenticeship programs with an accredited local college to educate and prepare future MAs for success. What You Bring/Job Requirements:In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:   * High School diploma required * Medical Assisting Trade/Technical School, Preferred* Medical Assistant certification or registration from approved organization, required* Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers required * Successful completion of all Medical Assistant Core Skills, as well as Additional competencies which are specialty specific, as defined within the Scope of Practice for CHPG Medical Assistants.* Successful completion of assigned/required courses in online learning platform* Maintain good standing as an Associate* For Internal Candidates:* When the CHPG MA 1 Associate meets all the above minimum requirements, he/she can ask the Practice Manager to submit a change of status form for promotion from an MA 1 to an MA 2. Physical Requirements - Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly) Your Connected Community:Situated between Denver and Colorado Springs, Castle Rock Adventist Hospital is a 90-bed acute care hospital and Level III Trauma Center providing comprehensive health care to the greater Castle Rock community and surrounding areas.
