At Centura Health, we value incredible people with incredible skills - but your commitment to a greater cause is something we value even more.   As a Sterile Processing Tech Certified with Centura Health you will:* Promote improved quality and improved patient safety in the OR by ensuring the efficient flow of the Sterile Processing department. * Perform routine tasks relating to the decontamination, processing, sterilization, and distribution of instruments, equipment and sterile supplies. Responsible for general operating and monitoring of sterilization equipment. * Maintain records in compliance with AAMI, AORN, Joint Commission and OSHA standards. Maintains Certification, and monitors, instructs and mentors non-certified. * Facilitate awareness and understanding around what is at stake with patients in the OR. * Facilitate the department's preparation of staff to pass survey/regulatory assessments.*Schedule:  3:00pm - 11:30pm*What You Bring/Job Requirements:In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:  * Computer skills required* CRCST or CSPDT certification required upon hire or transfer* High School Diploma/G.E.D. requiredPhyscial Requirements - Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)Minimum Pay:USD $19.05/Hr.Hiring Maximum Pay:USD $32.09/Hr.Your Connected Community:When people and places align, incredible things happen.
