Job Summary: The Department Coordinator will support the VP of Nursing with their administrative needs and assist the other VPs with their programing needs. The Department Coordinator will also coordinate the daily activities for the Department. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Responsibilities: Perform policy review and revision to influence best practice standards. Perform Ad hoc project management. Conduct unit rounds to document any deterrents to the clinical staffing committee requirements. Perform monthly nursing partnership meetings; listen to nursing needs and solve any pertinent issues and propose new practices.
