To fully investigate insurance coverage and patient liability in order to assist the Credit Manager with cash recovery. RESPONSIBILITIES Conducts insurance verification for assigned pre-registrations to validate insurance data, identify patient responsibility and confirm proper authorization is obtained. Where appropriate, communicates discrepancies to appropriate department or manager. Utilizes all tools and resources currently available to streamline the workflow of financial assessment, including Omnipro, Epaces, Relay Health, telephone and other internet sources.
