To assist patients in obtaining available medical benefits while securing reimbursement on behalf of the Hospital. RESPONSIBILITIES Coordinates financial counseling programs at all campuses, monitoring queues and in-house list; ensuring that appropriate financial counseling activities occur for uninsured and underinsured patients. This will include providing updates to designated Hospital staff regarding financial counseling status of in-house patients and those whose discharge planning is contingent on insurance application status.
