Senior Patient Service Representative
Summary: The Senior Patient Service Representative provides on-site lead for daily operations for the medical secretary. Serves as a liaison between Practitioners and patients to coordinate successful delivery of care and services. Responsibilities: Assist patients in the checking in/checking out process and completing necessary paperwork. Collect appropriate office co-pays at the time of the visit. Educate patients in post care instructions and their healthcare coverage responsibilities. Scan medical insurance and obtained authorizations from insurance carriers. Obtain insurance referrals as needed. Scan lab reports, consultations, office notes and any messages into the appropriate chart.
